Private-Pay Therapy Intensives

For Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, & ADHD

Book a Compatibility Call

Sometimes the problem is not that therapy isn't working.

It is that 50 minutes is not enough time for the work you're trying to do.

A therapy intensive may be a good fit if you have a specific clinical issue or treatment goal you want dedicated time to address.

  • Anxiety that continues to interfere with sleep, concentration, relationships, work, or your ability to feel settled
  • A trauma or PTSD response that you have started addressing in therapy but have not had enough uninterrupted time to work through
  • Childhood or relational trauma that continues to influence present-day thoughts, behaviors, or relationships
  • ADHD-related patterns that are significantly affecting daily functioning, emotional regulation, or self-perception
  • A depression-related pattern you want to understand and address more directly
  • A specific trigger, behavioral pattern, fear, or recurring response you keep returning to in weekly therapy
  • A clinical issue you understand intellectually but have had difficulty changing through insight alone
  • A treatment goal that would benefit from concentrated attention rather than being divided across several appointments
You may already be in weekly therapy and feel like you finally reach the important part of the session just as it is time to stop. Or you may simply know exactly what you want help addressing and want to give that work more room. An intensive is designed for that.

The goal is never to push harder or faster than is clinically appropriate. If you are unsure whether an intensive is right for you, start with a Compatibility Call.

A therapy intensive is an extended, private-pay clinical therapy session built around one clearly defined treatment goal.

It is not a retreat. It is not coaching. It is not a promise of a breakthrough.

It is therapy delivered in a different format. Instead of opening a difficult topic, working with it for a short period, closing it back up, and attempting to return to it a week later, an intensive gives us a larger block of uninterrupted clinical time.

Before the intensive, we establish the specific issue we are treating and complete standardized baseline measures. During the intensive, our work stays centered on that treatment goal. The specific therapeutic methods used depend on your clinical needs and may draw from approaches used throughout Bee You, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, somatic techniques, motivational interviewing, breathwork, and trauma-informed care. At the end, we re-evaluate where you are and identify the next clinical steps.

Fifty Minutes Is Not Always Fifty Minutes of Focused Work.

Weekly therapy has real value. It is simply built around a different rhythm. Your typical 50-minute appointment combines checking in, focused work, then slowing down before you’re left to your own devices until next week.

If you are getting roughly 20 to 30 minutes of uninterrupted work on the treatment target each week, accumulating 180 minutes of focused time can take approximately six to nine weekly appointments.

A Half Day Intensive gives us a three-hour clinical block in one appointment.

There is still time for pacing. There are still breaks when needed. We are still paying attention to your nervous system and clinical needs. What leaves is the interruption. We can identify one goal, stay with it, and give the work enough room to unfold before we have to stop.

Half Day Intensive

One 3-hour clinical block

Best suited to one clearly defined treatment goal that would benefit from more time than a weekly appointment can provide.

The Half Day format gives us one extended block to assess, work with, and evaluate the issue without spreading the process across multiple weeks.

Full Day Intensive

Two 3-hour clinical blocks completed on the same day

The Full Day provides a larger container for more layered clinical work while still maintaining one primary treatment focus.

Across the day, approximately four to five hours are devoted to deep, focused therapy, with short breaks and appropriate time for pacing, regulation, assessment, and integration.

Additional 90-Minute Block

For clients who would benefit from additional focused clinical time following an intensive.

Whether an additional block is appropriate is based on your treatment needs rather than automatically added to every intensive.

Every intensive includes preparation before the appointment and structured follow-up afterward.

60-Minute Preparation Session

Before your intensive, we clarify the clinical concern you want to address, your history with the issue, and the specific treatment goal for our work.

Standardized Baseline Measures

We establish a baseline related to the issue being treated so we have information to compare over time.

Your Intensive Therapy Block

One 3-hour block for Half Day Intensives or two 3-hour blocks completed the same day for Full Day Intensives.

FAQs

Focused. Measured. Clinically structured.

If there is one clinical issue you keep returning to, one pattern you understand but have not been able to change, or one piece of your treatment that continually feels too large for a weekly appointment, an intensive gives us another way to approach it and the focused time to stay with the work.
